Why bother
A full report is long, and a busy owner won't read it. A two-minute video of you walking through their score and the three things you would fix first gets watched, and it shows that a person looked at their business.
Open the walkthrough
- 1Open a report and press “Present”. The report opens as a handful of full-screen screens: the score, the seven areas, the top three priorities, who Google shows first, and what fixing them would do.
- 2Move between screens with the arrow keys or the space bar.
- 3Under each screen is “What to say”: a few sentences written from that audit's findings. On paid plans, “Write with AI” rewrites them in a more conversational voice.
Record it
- 1Read the notes through once. Say them in your own words; they are a prompt, not a script.
- 2Press “Notes in a separate window” and move that window out of the area you will record, or press “Hide notes” if you know what you want to say.
- 3Start your screen recorder (Loom, Zoom, QuickTime or any other) on the presentation's tab or window, with your camera on if you like.
- 4Walk through the screens. About two minutes is right; the notes show how long they take to say.
Send it
- Put the video link in your outreach email, with the report link beside it.
- “Copy client link” gives a link to the same walkthrough without your notes, for a client to click through themselves or for you to share your screen on a call.
- On Agency and Scale, the last screen shows your agency's name and contact details.
Good manners
- Describe gaps as opportunities. The owner didn't ask to be audited.
- Use only what the report says. Don't promise rankings or revenue.
- One video per business. A recording that could be about anyone is worse than no video.
